On March 7th, Victor Finmann and Michael P. Ryan, both Of Counsel to Jaspan Schlesinger LLP, presented at the 42nd Annual Estate Planning Conference Sponsored by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn. Mr. Finmann spoke on the topics of “Right to Election” and “Practical Estate and Trust Planning with IRA and Qualified Plan Assets After the Passage of the SECURE Act.” Mr. Ryan presented on the topic of “Attorneys’ Fees In Surrogate’s Court” as well as moderated the morning session with the attorneys panel and the afternoon session with the panel of active and former Surrogates, Hon.
