Sally M. Donahue, Esq., a partner in Jaspan’s Trusts and Estates Group is vice co-chair of the Nassau County Bar Association Surrogate’s Court Estates and Trusts Committee. In conjunction with the Suffolk County Academy of Law, they will be presenting a Continuing Legal Education Program at the Nassau County Bar Association on November 5, 2014 entitled, “An Evening with the Surrogates.”
Ms. Donahue has successfully assembled a panel consisting of seven New York State Surrogates who will answer questions posed to them in a round-table format covering substantive and procedural issues involved in Surrogate’s Court practice. Honored guests will also include former Surrogates. It is a rare event indeed to seat seven (7) current and former Surrogate’s together for such a candid discussion of practice before their Court.
There will be a “meet-and-greet” with the Surrogates before the program commencing at 5:30 p.m.
The CLE program runs from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Participants will receive two (2) professional practice CLE credits.
