Jaspan Schlesinger LLP announced today that Shannon E. Boettjer has joined the Firm as a partner in its Litigation Practice Group.
Ms. Boettjer concentrates her practice on civil litigation with an emphasis on representing corporations and insurance companies in complex commercial litigation and coverage litigation matters. She has represented insurance companies in state and federal courts across the United States in environmental, professional liability, general liability and other claims; has provided coverage advice to clients in high-exposure, complex matters; and has acted as monitoring counsel for such matters. Ms. Boettjer has also counseled clients on complying with various state and federal regulations.
Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Boettjer was with the New York office of a London-based international law firm, where she represented leading insurers in complex, high value matters. Ms. Boettjer received her undergraduate degree in Diplomacy & World Affairs and Master of Arts in Teaching History from Occidental College. She received her Juris Doctor cum laude from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
