Jaspan Schlesinger Promotes Three to Partner

Jaspan Schlesinger LLP has promoted to partner Frank Dell’Amore, Michael Leon and Michael Raniere.

Mr.  Dell’Amore is a partner in the Firm’s Banking and Financial Services and Creditors’ Rights Practice Groups, where he represents financial institutions and leasing companies in foreclosure, collection, bankruptcy, loan workout and general litigation matters. Mr. Dell’Amore received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Touro Law Center, where he was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. He is admitted to practice in the State Courts of New York, United States District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts, and the United States Court of Appeals, 2nd Circuit. He is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association.

Mr. Leon is a partner in the Firm’s Litigation Group. He advises clients in both Federal and State Court specializing in the areas of New York and Delaware corporate and commercial litigation. Mr. Leon received his undergraduate degree from Binghamton University and his Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law. While at Hofstra, he was a member of the Hofstra Law Review and graduated with honors and a concentration in corporate and commercial litigation. He is also a member of the New York State Bar Association and the National Institute for Trial Lawyers Association.

Mr. Raniere is a partner in the Firm’s Education Law Practice Group, providing both general and labor counsel to school districts and public libraries.  He argues matters before the Commissioner of Education, the State Division of Human Rights and the Public Employment Relations Board. Mr. Raniere received his Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law in 2003, where he was the Symposium Editor for the Fordham Urban Law Journal. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations in 2000. Mr. Raniere is admitted to practice in the courts of the State of New York and is a member of the New York State and Nassau County Bar Associations.
