Jaspan Schlesinger Promotes Three to Partner

Jaspan Schlesinger LLP has promoted to partner Jessica Baquet, Seth Presser and Daniel Shapiro, each of whom is a partner in the Firm’s Litigation Practice Group and its Appellate Practice Group.

Jessica M. Baquet practices in the area of general civil litigation with an emphasis on commercial, municipal and employment litigation. Ms. Baquet received her Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University and her Juris Doctor degree from St. John’s University School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in the State Courts of New York, the United States District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

Seth A. Presser concentrates on commercial litigation, international arbitration, civil rights, and appellate practice.  Mr. Presser received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and his Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in the courts of the States of New York, New Jersey, and Rhode Island, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the District of Columbia, as well as the federal district courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey, as well as the United States Courts of Appeals for the First, Second, and Third Circuits.

Daniel E. Shapiro concentrates on commercial litigation and appellate practice. Mr. Shapiro received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Johns Hopkins University and his Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra University School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in the state courts of New York and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
