Judge Jeffrey D. Lebowitz, special counsel in Jaspan Schlesinger LLP’s Matrimonial and Family Law and Litigation Practice Groups, was recently appointed by Chief Administrative Judge Lawrence Marks to the Matrimonial Practice Advisory and Rules Committee.
The Advisory Committee is chaired by the Hon. Jeffrey S. Sunshine and includes many distinguished representatives from both the bench and bar. The Committee focuses on various facets of matrimonial litigation, including reviewing current rules, assessing the need for additional rules, and studying and developing best practices to assist litigants and attorneys. In appointing Judge Lebowitz, Judge Marks stressed his experience as both a judge and attorney, and his long standing commitment to improve the practice of law.
