Michael P. Miata is a member of the Corporate and Commercial Transactions practice group and the Real Estate practice group. Michael counsels institutional clients in a variety of real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, and commercial leasing. Michael is also involved in representing businesses’ financial transactions and implementing mergers and acquisitions.
In the summer of 2021, Michael worked as a summer associate for Jaspan Schlesinger Narendran LLP, where he obtained experience in all practice areas. Prior to joining the firm, Michael worked for a risk management company, focusing on helping clients meet State and Federal regulatory compliance standards.
During law school, Michael interned for the Hon. Stephen A. Bucaria and the Hon. Vito DeStefano. In addition, while at Hofstra, he participated in the Community and Economic Development Clinic.
