Matthew focuses his practice on banking and financial services, representing institutional and private lenders in the financing of residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties all over the country, but with a focus in the New York and Tri-State area. With experience in representing both balance sheet lenders and CMBS lenders, Matthew is known for his practical approach and attention to detail as he guides clients through every stage of a transaction—from title and organizational due diligence to the drafting and negotiation of complex loan documents.
At the firm, Matthew is looked to for his guidance and training of associates, and in the Long Island community, he tries to stay involved with organizations that give back to others; Matthew currently serves on the board of Moxxie Mentoring Foundation, which supports and fosters the career advancement and leadership development of young women through generational mentoring. Above all, Matthew’s greatest source of pride is his family. He and his wife, Melissa, are embracing the adventures of parenthood with their daughter, Lennon, and newborn son, Harlan. When he’s not working, you’ll almost always find him spending time with them.
