Jothy Narendran, co-Managing Partner of Jaspan Schlesinger Narendran LLP, continues to be recognized as a leader in both the legal and philanthropic communities. With nearly 30 years of experience in the financial services sector, she is a trusted advisor to institutional and private lenders in a broad range of complex commercial real estate financing transactions. She also serves as chair of the firm’s Banking and Financial Services Practice Group, where she is known for her strategic counsel and deep industry insight.
Beyond her legal work, Ms. Narendran is a passionate and dedicated community leader. She currently serves as President of Spectrum Designs Foundation, a nonprofit that creates employment opportunities for individuals with autism, and as Chair of the Board of Governors at Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. She is also a longtime contributor to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island and has championed women’s heart health, notably chairing the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign on Long Island in 2021.
Ms. Narendran’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Science from New York Institute of Technology, an MBA from Hofstra University’s Frank G. Zarb School of Business, a Juris Doctor from Touro Law Center, and a Credential of Readiness in Business Analytics, Economics for Managers and Financial Accounting from Harvard Business School Online.
Recently, the New York State Senate adopted Resolution J994, honoring Ms. Narendran for her extraordinary career and her lasting contributions to the legal profession and the Long Island community. The resolution recognizes her as a role model whose dedication, expertise, and compassion continue to make a meaningful impact.
